Ford F150 Pickup Wheels Visable From Space

Not many cars, or tyres come in sizes bigger than here on the Ford F150 pickup! This Harley Davidson special is a giant of the road, sitting on 24” wheels. Our Bush Tyres Immingham branch fitted the enormous wheels with a full set of 305/30VR24 112V Yokohama PA02 tyres.

This Ford F150 is a special addition tribute to the Harley Davidson Motorcycle company, featuring traditional black paint with monochromatic black trims and bright orange decals and badges familiar to fans of the famous motorcycle brand.

Introduced in the year 2000 and manufactured up to 2003, this 10^th generation Ford F150 was imported into the UK in 2005. The F150 is mechanically identical to the standard model with a huge 5400cc V8 engine producing 260hp. Nothing today comes close to the driving experience of these powerful V8 pickups. Compared to modern and more sedate European and Asian trucks, these are more like a Monster Truck in comparison!

Inside the interior is completely bespoke, individual ‘biker jacket leather’ bucket seats are found using the same material as the brand’s clothing lines. Features also include unique stitching and Harley Davidson emblems. One of the first pickup trucks to be fitted with luxuries normally only seen in high end SUV or saloon cars this model paved the way for other companies to launch their own luxury versions of standard pickup trucks.

The Harley theme continued up to 2012 when Ford eventually replaced these motorcycle themed trucks with their own generic ‘Limited’ trim level. Jay Leno Famously owned the first ‘Harley’ and had the Supercharged engine from the higher powered ‘Lightning” model. This set the Ford F150 firmly in the hearts of the petrolhead pickup truck drivers of America and beyond.
