This STUNNING Pontiac Catalina came to our Long Sutton Bush Tyres branch for wheel balancing on all four wheels after the customer mentioned that they were experiencing a lot of out of balance vibration.
If you notice a ‘tyre wobble’ or vibration through the steering wheel when driving, this could mean your wheels need balancing.
Wheel balancing ensures that weight is distributed equally around the wheel and that the tyre rotates evenly. Another indicator that your wheels need balancing is uneven tyre wear. Wheel balancing involves placing tiny offsetting weights at specific points around the wheel to balance it.
Wheel balancing is different from wheel alignment which involves checking the direction and angle of the wheels to ensure they are aligned correctly. With our state-of-the-art alignment machines, we can correct alignment problems including uneven tyre wear, your vehicle pulling to the left or right and a crooked steering wheel.
Both wheel balancing and wheel alignment are important to help reduce uneven tyre wear and help you get more miles out of your tyres.
