Hankook celebrates a decade with the DTM racing series

Hankook and German touring car series DTM are marking a 10 year partnership this season.

The premium tyre manufacturer has supplied tyres at more than 150 races, with the Hankook Ventus Race demonstrating its quality in a diverse range of conditions like heavy rain and extreme heat in Nuremberg and Budapest.The Hankook race tyre has been, and remains, a strong and reliable partner for all the teams and drivers

Following its DTM debut in 2011, Hankook has gone on to develope the tyre in four phases to tackle the always on going developments in the DTM race series.

Ten years of Hankook and the DTM
Four generations of tyre
Over 150 races together, in ten countries
Seven different champions on Hankook tyres
Five teams have won the Hankook Best Pit Stop Award
Each driver has seven sets of slicks (14 front and 14 rear tyres) at their disposal per DTM weekend
The rear tyre (slick) is 356 mm wide, with a diameter of 712 mm
