In preparation for our exciting expansion into Ely, B A Bush and Son Ltd are proud to be able to offer a position for an experienced Branch Manager.

The branch, set to open early January 2025, will offer a quality Fast Fit Service to our customers, including but not limited to, tyre fitting (car, van 4×4), alignments, batteries, brakes ect and mobile fitting for car/van/truck/agricultural.

Role Purpose:

  • To be involved and responsible in all aspects of Depot activities, including but not restricted to, Account and Retail Sales transactions. You will also be required to manage the commercial operations including but not limited to, scheduling the day to day jobs and invoicing completed work.
  • To be responsible for the actions and conduct of depot staff always ensuring that working practices and processes adhere to all current legislations (HSE, Employment Law, etc)
  • To be responsible for all aspects of depot performance such as sales and profitability targets, comply with depot standards as set by the company and sustain highest levels of customer service, efficiency and professionalism

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for all branch operations
  • Consistently evaluate staff competence to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered to our customers
  • Manage depot stock levels, stock control and reorder requirements.
  • Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment and depot premises
  • Ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, being knowledgeable, professional and friendly at all times.

Experience in a similar management role is desirable, however, not essential as full training can be given. Previous tyre industry experience or knowledge is essential.

This role is predominantly 45 hours per week (Monday-Saturday).

Salary negotiable dependant on experience.

Experience:

  • Retail management: 4 years (preferred)
