Trainee Tyre Technician, Kings Lynn

Our Kings Lynn branch currently have an opportunity for a Trainee Tyre Technician to join their team.

The branch carries out a variety of fast fit work including tyres & alignments, batteries, brakes, exhausts ect, in addition to offering a commercial (mobile fitting) service and wholesale and distribution operations.

As a trainee your role will begin with shadowing a senior technician to learn the tasks involved with tyre fitting, from safely bringing the vehicle into the fitting bay, to removing the wheel and assessing it for a puncture repair or new tyre. Once you have learnt the basics and are competent, you will begin working independently before moving onto the other aspects of fast fit.

Role Purpose:

• To learn, understand and competently provide a high quality tyre fitting service.
• As part of a small team your role will be integral to delivering a quality maintenance and repair service to our customers.
• Understand and adhere to all relevant Health and Safety requirements, including policies and procedures
• Communicate the Bush Group vision for “quality at all costs”.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver work to the highest standard to fulfil our high customer service standards
• Learn and understand tyre & technical information through internal training and relevant training courses
• Complete all relevant administration paperwork in detail.
• Contribute to good housekeeping routines
