Workshop Controller/Service Manager, Boston

Due to continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller/Service Manager to join the team at our Boston branch.

The branch carries out all aspects of fast fit work including tyres, alignments, batteries, brakes, exhausts, in addition to servicing and MOT’s.

Your day to day responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, overseeing all aspects of the workshop operations, liaising with technicians and customers to deliver repairs and maintenance to the highest standard. You will be expected to carry out repairs and maintenance as required, but predominantly you will be responsible for overseeing and advising on work carried out by technicians.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Assign and oversee day to day repair and maintenance jobs
• Complete all relevant administration paperwork in detail.
• Report to the Site Manager throughout the day to ensure an efficient turnaround for all jobs
• Be proactive to obtain new customer accounts
• Contribute to good housekeeping routines

Experience in a similar role is desirable, however knowledge or experience of the tyre/fast fit industry is essential.

This role is 45 hours per week during our operating hours.

Salary negotiable dependant on experience.
