55 years of service at Bush Tyres – Ken Nicholson

Congratulations to Ken Nicholson who, in January 2020,
surpassed 55 years of continued service to B.A Bush & Son Ltd.

In the last 55 years, Ken has worked for four generations ofthe Bush family, starting with company founder Benjamin Arthur Bush & thenhis son Ivor Bush to present day directors, Nigel Bush (Ivor’s son) &Nigel’s two sons, Ben & Tom Bush.

Ken joined B A Bush & Son Ltd (Bush Tyres) in 1965working as a tyre fitter in Horncastle, Bush Tyres current head officelocation.

In his long running career, Ken has made a lot of friendsboth inside & outside of the industry, partly due to his outgoing nature& friendly smile but also because of the wealth of knowledge he has in thetyre industry.

Ken has held a variety of key positions within the companyduring his 55 years of service, which included running two depots (Skegness & Spilsby) and still holds an active role of fleetmanagement for our commercial operations

As well as fleet operation work, Ken likes to keep a hands-on approach with his love of anything mechanical, a talent that greatly assists our fleetof vehicles and service equipment today.

we hope you have no intention of retiring any time soon.
