Ascenso THB 230 tyres for JCB 540-180 HI-VIZ Telescopic Handler

Our Norwich Bushmobile team fitted a set of Ascenso 15.5/80-24 THB230 tyres to this JCB 540-180 HI-VIZ Telescopic Handler in Great Yarmouth where they are building the Third River Crossing.

The THB 230 tyre has a specially designed directional tread pattern which ensures traction and self-cleaning properties as well as excellent stability during vehicle operation. The strong nylon carcass safeguards the tyre against failures.

The Ascenso THB 230 is available in the following sizes:

• 15.5/80-24 (400/80-24)
• 405/70-20 (16.0/70-20)

The Great Yarmouth Third River Crossing will link the A47 at Harfrey’s roundabout to the port and the enterprise zone via South Denes Road on the other side of the River Yare. The bridge will ease traffic congestion on the town’s roads, shortening journey times and improving journey reliability, as well as support wider plans and work to maximise investment, regeneration and economic growth opportunities in the town and wider borough. Construction on the bridge started in January 2021 and they are aiming to have the bridge operational and open to traffic by early 2023.

The project is also helping the next generation of engineers gain vital experience in the construction industry.
