BA Bush visit Vredestein OHT Traxion 25 Event in the Netherlands
Article written by Bush TyresIn September 2022 Apollo Tyres celebrated 25 years since the launch by Vredestein of its remarkable and extremely successful Traxion+ tractor tyres.
BA Bush’s Colin Creasey visited the Vredestein factory and R&D center in Enschede (NL), along with over 170 guests representing press and customers from all over Europe, to celebrate 25 years of its extremely successful Traxion+ tractor tyres. The event offered a varied and exciting evening and day programme, a great opportunity to learn more about the products and strengthen industry relationships.
Vredestein tyres, which are part of the BA Bush original equipment (O.E) and retail offering, showcased their newest tyres on a demo field in the rural countryside of Lattrop, as well as introducing their new products for 2023 such as the Endurion Trailer and VF Flotation Optimall.
The Traxion+ was introduced by Vredestein in 1997 and for the time it was a revolutionary tyre with a strong divergent pattern compared to the usual tractor tyre patterns of its period. The tyre was introduced in the then increasingly popular and modern 70- and 65- low profile series. Traxion+ could really be seen as revolutionary because of its curved lug shape, guaranteeing a perfect road drive and low wear combined with high traction in the field and the self-cleaning properties. This development still has a very important role in Vredestein’s current modern tractor tyres such as the VF Traxion Optimall, the Traxion XXL, Traxion 65, Traxion 70 and Traxion 85.
