Custom Wheel Refurb and Vredestein All Season Tyres for Awd Subaru Legacy

Perfect for the current weather conditions, this all white Subaru Legacy BH5 Rev D, E-Tune, came in to our Horncastle branch to have a full set of Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres fitted.

This Legacy was the third generation, built from 1998-2003. They were mainly sold in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, with some examples being imported to the UK later in life, just like this white one. All models were fitted with All Wheel Drive systems for fantastic all-season performance. A range of performance engines were fitted from 2-3 litre capacity with either single or twin turbos, the higher power models giving as much as 289hp from factory.

The Vredestein Quatrac Pro All Season Car Tyre comes with the all-important 3PMSF Snow grip marking. This complies with the EU winter tyre regulations (ECE R117) making it ideal for any European trips the owner may have planned. As well as excellent wet grip (B) and lower noise ratings compared to a full winter tyre, this tyre also has a distinct design by Italdesign Giugiaro, with a specific summer and winter side to the tread. This means it can be used all year round if desired. Unlike some other all-season tyres, the Quatrac Pro has been specifically developed for SUVs and Powerful cars, exactly like this Subaru.

All season tyres, much like a full winter tyre or cold weather tyre are made with specific compounds to help with grip in cold conditions. Throughout the year, especially in cold, wet and icy conditions an all season tyre will perform nearly as well as a full winter tyre and can improve handling and braking efficiency, with dramatically reduced stopping distances over any UHP summer tyre.

While the car was with us, the owner also decided to have the Work Wheels UK – Emotion ZR10 wheels, professionally refurbished and powder coated in house. This was completed with a stunning custom Matt Anthracite finish. The whole package was then finished off with the fitting of the black wheel bolts and Black Adhesive balance weights, this resulted in the ultimate clean look against the backdrop of the all-white car.

Balance weights are usually available from stock in silver and black. They can also be colour matched to any wheel finish you require. Balancing can also be done to hide weights behind spokes wherever possible, please just ask in branch for more information.
