Enkei PF09 Wheels and Toyo PROXES TR1 Tyres for Honda Civic Tourer

Something a little bit different from SR Autosource, they brought their 2014 Honda Civic Tourer to our Spalding branch for new Enkei PF09 wheels, new Toyo PROXES TR1 tyres, Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs and a wheel alignment.

The Wheels – Enkei PF09 18" Rims:

The Spalding team fitted Enkei PF09 18" wheels to the Honda Civic Tourer. The PF09 is part of Enkei’s ‘Racing Series’ line-up and features nine contoured spokes designed to curve around big brakes found on modern sports cars. Available in dark silver or a matte gunmetal finish, the PF09 is available in sizes ranging from 16×7 to 18×10.5. The Tyres – Toyo PROXES TR1 tyres:

The Civic Tourer was fitted with a full set of four 225/40ZR18 Toyo PROXES TR1 tyres. The Toyo PROXES TR1 tyre tread pattern blends form with function to provide outstanding performance. The tyre features innovative new wear indicators which allow enthusiastic drivers to take advantage of exceptional handling and grip throughout the life of the tyre while also enhancing the environmental impact of reducing waste.

Suspension – Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit:

The team also fitted a Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit. The Pro-Kit lowers the car´s center of gravity, reducing squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nose-dive under braking. The Eibach Lowering Springs can improve handling, braking and responsiveness as well as a reduced wheel arch gap appearance and improved fuel economy.

Wheel Alignment:

Lastly the team carried out a full wheel alignment check and adjustment to make sure the owner will get the best from their new Toyo tyres and Enkei wheels. Poorly aligned wheels can significantly contribute towards obtaining less miles from a set of tyres due to rapid irregular tyre wear. By adjusting your vehicles alignment, you can significantly reduce this effect as well as reducing fuel consumption and improving your road safety!
