There’s no doubt that the current world we find ourselves in is radically different from the world of only 12 months ago. Whilst trading conditions a year ago were challenging, running a business now with all the complexities afforded by operating an international supply chain, can only be described at best, as extremely difficult.

This is one of the reasons why we are so proud at Bush Tyres to be bucking that trend. Only last month we opened our latest retail depot in the heart of the Cathedral city of Ely.

Over a six-week period a derelict former ATS Euro master site has been transformed into a fully functional fast fit centre offering the latest technology available to service the local and wider Ely community.

This new Ely depot links our Abbey Tyres depot in Cambridge which is part of our Bush Tyres group to our established Kings Lynn branch on the north Norfolk coastline. The newly opened Ely depot cements our status as a growing brand within the region.

It also allows for a greater flexibility of supply for the depots linked along the A10 corridor as each depot can act as warehouse for each other. Ultimately providing the customer with the highest level of service and supply available.

In 1947 Bush Tyres became a Tyre dealer, now over 75 years later we have become one of the fastest growing tyre companies in the UK with 24 retails depots and several more planned for this year.

In only a few weeks’ time, Attleborough, like the residents of Ely with their new Ely Depot will be proud to have to their own Bush Tyres depot. When up at running it will offer the same level of service and quality workmanship that our customers have grown accustomed too.

Our latest story does not just end there, as plans are progressing quickly for the launch of a new commercial tyre site in Lincoln.

Whilst it’s very easy to sound bullish with all this happening, it is our senior management team’s ability to leverage their combined years of experience of operating within the tyre industry, plus our dedicated talented staff who work tirelessly, which sets us apart from our competitors.

Undoubtedly the journey in the short to medium term in our sector is going to be turbulent. However, we firmly believe that our strategy of growth, and our laser focus on customer satisfaction allied with strong business acumen will see Bush Tyres remaining a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.
