PORSCHE 911 997 Carrera S:
Released in 2004 the 997 generation is the best-selling 911 ever. Sold through two phases of production all the way through to 2012. The return of the classic round or "bug eye" headlights from the earlier 993 design was a welcome return to form after the controversial "fried egg lights" of the 996 model. The 997 has an overall classic Porsche 911 look but with huge technological leaps forward from the outgoing 996. Performance of this Carrera S model comes from a 3.8 "flat 6" engine developing 355hp. This results in a 0-60 of 4,6 seconds and a Nurburgring time over 20 seconds faster than the older model. This customer car also has a factory GT3 rear wing, enhancing the overall silhouette of the car, helping the rear end grip, and giving greater road presence.
