Rare Triumph TR7 came in for tyres & wheel alignment
Article written by Bush TyresBush Tyres Goole was visited recently by a rare, low milage, Truimph TR7 Convertible to have all four tyres replaced & the wheel alignment adjusted.
First registered in 1982, this particular TR7 is 1 of only 3, sold in the UK, to have factory fitted fuel injection instead of twin SU carburetors normally fitted to the 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine.
In the 38 years since it was made (TR7 production ended in October 1981,) this car has done less than 60,000 miles, making it one one the rarest versions in the UK.
The tyres chosen, to give the best all round performance, were 185/55R15 86V Hankook K125 Ventus Prime 3 on the front with 205/50R15 Hankook K125 Ventus Prime 3 bringing up the rear.
The K125 VP3 has the perfect balance between safety and performance as well as improved dry and wet traction with lower rolling resistance.
A special centre rib for better steering response and improved mileage, steering, braking and wet grip from its new tread development.
Hankook K125 has high comfort combined with premium performance characteristics which were achieved during the development of the Prime³.
For example, the lightweight yet sturdy carcass ensures safe handling and contributes to its premium yet sporty driving style, while the high grip silica compound produces excellent results in wet grip for the EU label.
The Hankook K125 Ventus Prime 3 tyre performs so well it has been chosen as an original equipment tyre by Audi, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Seat, Opel/Vauxhall & VW.
