The Superb V10 Lamborghini Huracan

Feel Thunder,  Feel The V10 Rumble

First launched in 2014 as a replacement for the outgoing Gallardo V10. The Huracan was first revealed online in 2013 followed by a physical reveal at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show. The name Huracan follows the tradition of naming cars after famous Spanish fighting Bulls. The word Huracan literally translates to ‘Hurricane’. The famous bull the car is named after was known for its courage and last fought in 1879.

The car is powered by the same 5.2 Litre naturally aspirated V10 engine as the outgoing Gallardo. It produces over 602hp, and it unusually has both direct and multi point fuel injection. This gives the car incredible performance of 0-62mph in under 2.5 seconds, a top speed of just over 200 mph and an engine noise that can make the hair of even the dead stand on end.

This incredible sounding V10 powered Lamborghini Huracan visited our Spilsby Branch last week for a full set of 20-inch Pirelli P ZERO tyres. The customer taking full advantage of the Pirelli Winter Prize draw and E-voucher reward.

This process, known as homologation, provides the perfect fit for the performance of each car. The variety of P ZERO seen here is marked with (L) as suitable for the V10 Lamborghini Huracan.

Pirelli also make these sizes in (LB) derivative, these are better suited to the latest Huracan two wheel drive model and the (LM) variety that is seen fitted to the Urus models since 2022.

The P ZERO offers high fast road performance as well as safety in the wet thanks to its high silica content. The P ZERO also offers excellent traction and comfort with low noise emissions and super low rolling resistance. This is all achieved by low pitch sequence and unique siping designs giving the tyre high levels of wet weather performance and offering a relatively high mileage durability over some of the other brands available within the market.
