This lovely classic Porsche 911 in Hellgelb came to our Grimsby branch for a set of 4 Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres and a four-wheel alignment following a full restoration.

Porsche 911 – Hellgelb

Some of our readers may remember the competition winning comic strip, created for us during the Bush Tyres Creative Competition we ran back in 2021. Since then the owner of this Porsche has been busy working hard on their next project. A Full “nut and bolt” restoration of another classic Porsche.

This time, a 1971, 911. This car is in the unmissable colour, Hellgelb or “light yellow”. Beginning life as a 911-T this car was specified with the lighter body for racing and also had the “S engine” fitted along with a roll cage at the factory. These extras were ordered for the car to be used as a single seat racer.

Since then, having never actually seen a race track, it was road registered in 1974. The car is now used and enjoyed for fast road driving and trips to local car shows. You may even be lucky enough to spot both cars at various East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club (EYTCC) meets throughout the summer.

Following the full restoration, this customer brought the 911 into our Grimsby Branch for fitting of 4 Vredestein Sprint Classic car tyres, along with a full four-wheel alignment setup.

Since its launch the tread profile design has remained unchanged. The only addition to the looks has been to the sidewall with changes to the sidewall markings.
